Ramon

RamonRamon has a Love for art that started at a very early age. In School all of his teachers told him that he was very talented. Ramon developed an interest in tattooing after his life long friend Brent Harp started tattooing under Duece crawford. While getting tattooed by Brent he began to put it in his head that he too should put his artist talents into this new medium, the human canvas. Ramon took his advice and began his apprenticeship under Brent. After a full year of apprenticing he began tattooing full time alongside his mentor at eternal body works in Mckinney TX. Ramon Spent several years at eternal before moving on to different shops in the Dallas fort worth area and most recently becoming part of the crew here at Eastside tattoo. Ramon enjoys doing all styles of tattoos including but not limited to black and grey, old school, new school, traditional, tribal and asian influenced pieces. We here at eastside are happy to have Ramon as the newest addition to the shop.

Lane

lane

Lane’s  true love for art started at a very young age and continued into his college career. Where he took classes from basic drawing classes to advanced placement painting classes at Collin College.  His interests in all forms of artistic mediums and styles including everything from Conte’ figure drawings painting in acrylics and oil has fueled the desire to push his artistic abilities and ambitions past the limit. At this time in his life he met Casey Leal from Hold Fast Tattoo and started his two year apprenticeship at Lucky Monkey Tattoo and Body Piercing until  later finishing his apprenticeship at Nine Eyes Tattoo Studio at the end of 2007.

Lane now enjoys tattooing in a wide rage of custom tattoos in styles like organics, which is a style with a lot of textures and depths in colors, or even in a traditional/neo-traditional style to realistic, or even to a more cartoonish style of art depending on the tastes of the wearer. Lane is not against tattooing others’ artwork as well. He truly takes on the clients best interests by educating them on the ins and outs of what goes into a tattoo, in which, he will explain how size, placement on the body, complexity and meaning are all important aspects for a quality tattoo.
